V new series
Anyone watch it?
Anyone watch the old series? Anyone still think it is the 80's? So, I liked it, it condensed like half the mini seires from the old show into like a 1 hour pilot. looks as if they are going to focus on other parts of the show Anyhow, if this dies I will know how sad this show is and how sad I am for watching it

I *loved* V as a kid, and recently found the dvd's to rewatch. It looks amazingly old and cheesy now >.<
I really do hope the new show doesn't go the way of the new Knightrider, as that was utterly terrible - even though I was all excited about its potential! H.

i have this recorded on my Tivo and am waiting to check it out this weekend. It looked good, but only as good as network tv can get. My mom watched the old series and said that it was terrible. I guess I will see. I like the whole idea behind hot, good-looking aliens that then proceed to kill people. Awesome.

The remake is very entertaining. Sadly, I have not gotten the chance to watch the original. But I'm impressed with the remake. I hope it does well. I'm looking forward to the next episode. And yes, I must admit, I like the lead V leader. She is.....um....I'll keep it to myself. :)

Kira reminded me of the crappy Knight rider re-do... I shall have to quell my enthusiasm, so as not to be disappointed if it turns down a similar path.
I am sorta hoping for V to be like Battlestar Galactica. (better than the original) Quote:

I tried to be cool and say nothing beats the original. But then I tried to watch an old episode of BSG...
... It hurt to watch =( Somewhere between the dreadful make-up jobs, repeat shot of the same ship blowing up, and the 70's Farah Facett hair style, I had to stop so as not to destroy my childhood.
