Anyway, the premise is nice. This will be good movie to watch in cinema. Even if storywise it will suck some fat gear stick effects will compensate.

True, but that's not makeup. All the blue-skinned aliens are completely CGI creations, and that's a main selling point of the movie. Will it finally break the uncanny valley and give us functionally 'human' characters who can have the whole range and depth of a human performance even though they're entirely CGI? Now I've seen some very mixed reactions to the trailers (leaning towards hate of it, actually), but I place myself mostly in the cautiously optimistic camp. The story and designs look like nothing new, the dialogue in the new trailer is mostly trite, but hey - weird alien planet, exotic looking alien creatures, how bad can it be? Eh?

Good God, those CGI creations look like real, well, humanoid creatures. O_O It'll be a harder challenge this time, since those CGIs will be portraying humanoid characters, not just small creatures like Gollum or Yoda.

I'm still optimistic regarding the movie since I'm a die-hard fan of the genre.
