Gekkou no Carnevale . . . and the story of arc666's avatar

Okay, time for this again.

So, arc's new avatar is Anna, one of the heroines (the main heroine) in Gekkou no Carnevale, another one of those excellent dark atmospheric Nitroplus works. Not as dark as Saya no Uta, but more than Phantom and Demonbane. Set in an alternate Italian past, Anna is an Automatter living with a former mob member turned taxi driver. He's a werewolf (think Underworld kind of world), and he's stuck in a war between his old group Orma Rossa and the Luparia, who is interested in Anna. Obviously, Anna is special.

This is a very well told gothic noir tale. It has an amazing atmosphere and solid story with characters that are well fleshed out and interesting (personally I find Lunaria more interesting than Anna but Anna makes for a better look). The environment is stunning and the art is gorgeous. Usual Nitroplus quality and type. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

pretty much ....for me things fall into 3 groups creepy , cute , and everything else...guess where your placed in that line up....

Uh huh, i'm comparing it to my last... their isn't much weirder than a guy who controls faeries and gets ate by a baby the size of a house...
Besides their are little girls, bunnies are capable of being evil, and warewolves are such a popular thing that they do seem normal now.

OOooo Gekkou no Carnevale. I remember seeing pictures for it quite a long time ago and I was interested in it...was it ever subbed?

I'm assuming this is also an anime, but everywhere I go, I can't find it, or even articles on the anime, just the manga or visual novel.

And dammit, now I have to find that song!

From what I know it's only a Visual Novel, so there's no anime for it.
