I can't wait to see it! I haven't read the book yet, but after reading the LotR trilogy and attempting to read The Silmarillion, I've concluded that Tolkien's style... Well, let's just say that it isn't really my cup of tea. Anyways, I'm so excited foor The Hobbit! The trailer made me all nostalgic. Time to watch some LotR! (well, after the exams are over... That is, in a month or so...)

Hobbit is a bit more like children tale. Try it. Silmarillion is very difficult compared to LotR and Hobbit.

the Silmarillion is indeed a grind in many places mainly the front half...but some of the stories in the last half are very good indeed...
