First Video Game
So... I did a moderate search and scrolled page after page to make sure this isn't a duplicate. I didn't see anything but I am sure that I will be corrected it if there is another one out there.
What is the first video game you remember playing? We are all just about of the generations that grew up with video games. So, what is the first one you remember playing? Or what was the first one of a specific genre that you played that got you HOOKED on it. I remember playing "Centipede" on the Atari 800. First game I really fell in love with was "The Legend of Zelda". When it first came out on the NES I played till I beat it then proceeded to make a Link costume. That game rocked.

The first game I ever played... Hmmmm....
It was either Super Mario World, or Descent... I can't remember which. My parents picked up both games around the same time. Prior to that, I just watched my dad play Doom and Wolfenstein.

First game I recall ever playing was Mario 1 on the NES in 1989 or 1990? and then my social life from there on went downhill.

Going back a while, but I remember playing the game with the two frogs on the lillypads eating flies on the 2600 and some other racing game on the 2600.

The original Zelda game for NES. Which was already old by the time I played it, but it was the only system we had. I could never beat Ganon, though. I had to get my brother to do it.

Ok first video game I ever played? Maybe Pong? I also remember playing the arcades. Games like Tempest, Moon Patrol, Pole Position, Ms.Pac-Man to name a few. The first console game would have to be Mario/Duck Hunt.
