Rosenkreuzstilette . . . and the story of Exhale's avatar
Well, in keeping with tradition . . .
Exhale's avatar is Grolla Seyfarth from Rosenkreuzstilette. What the hell is that? Well, it's a Mega Man clone basically. Pretty fun too. A little bit easier than the old-school Mega Man games but still challenging. Well, easier in the original mode. But if you try out Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert (where you play as Grolla), it becomes much harder. Why? Because Grolla has a sword with no range and takes more damage. Not only that, but she does not get any special weapons. Think of her like Zero minus an X-Buster. There's not much of a story here. Magi users have been persecuted forever and a war recently resulted in the Church . . . somewhat accepting them. Now a group of Magi users have banned together (as erka:es, the company's name) to end the Church's oppression of them and yada yada yada. You can't really expect a good story from a Mega Man clone can you? Still, it's a very fun game and I recommend people who grew up on old-school games to take this one for a spin. Oh yeah, Grolla's one of those stoic justice type with a hint of jealousy and a dash of impulse characters. Not really much else to say about her really. There's really not too much to say about most of the characters actually . . . I mean, come on. It's a Mega Man clone. Her stage is very gothic vampire-castle-ish. In RosenkreuzStilette Freudenstachel it's covered with blood. All that blood makes the floors very slippery . . . Personally I enjoy playing as Freudia the most, but Grolla can still be fun (when I'm not frustrated as hell trying to beat Luste). The avi I gave Exhale by the way is this.

An interesting insight, a shame that she took off her kawaii neko mimi and took up a sword welding female.

I also miss Exhales old one =(
Bring it back T_T The new one looks bad, way too purple and not pleasing on the eyes.

Actually, the first time I saw some screenshots of this game, I really thought that this is a new game for the Touhou Project or something (Hope Purplemo will not kill me if my spelling is wrong). Then, I discovered that it sounds really, great! :D
