Heroes Season 3 -- Current Episode Discussion

Hahaha I am just copying PaxLux's season 2!

All right! Here we are, moved over from the regular "Heroes" thread. This is for discussing the current episodes of Heroes S3 airing RIGHT NOW! Spoilers will be everywhere! No spoiler tags necessary. You have been warned!

So -- EPISODE 1 "The Second Coming"

So I am taking it that no one else watched Heroes?!?!?!?!

*sigh*

Well I am going to put down my thought anyway.

First of all let me say that I was pretty much amazed by the whole episode.

The whole Claire/Sylar episode totally reminded me of the movie Halloween, haha. Everyone knew she was not going to die but any speculation as to why she can not feel any more pain?

Mohinder really changed a lot, he seems kinda creepy now, especially when he practically devoured Maya at the end (hahaha)

I too, was reminded of Halloween. I even said "It's always the blonde!", though the huge ret-con with Sylar not eating brains, but rather just poking them was dumb, and the fact he got Claire kinda rendered the whole first season moot.

And of COURSE the only non-powered guy would get powers. I don't give two shits about Mohinder now, and I never liked Maya.

But Sylar a Petrelli?!

I always thought Mohinder would have a higher moral issue with all that he had seen certain powers could do. I guess it is a scientist thing but I always regarded him more highly than that and he disappointed me.

Haha, funny! Reminded me of Hannibal. The whole "Are you going to eat my brain?" thing. I was more confused when he said, "Ahh, I found it" and then looked like he took something out of her brain. What did he take?

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Besides, it sure looked like she didn't resist! He's molting now! Kind of reminds me of "The Fly."

i was pretty interested by the sylar petrelli deal, and the sector 5 villains are awesome, but the whole Mohinder "The Incredible Hulk" Suresh pissed me off

Suresh, Whats going on with this mans moral compass? Last season he was Mr. do the right thing. Now I hope greed kills him off. I have a feeling he is going to need Hiro's formula to fix his "problem" now.

Maya, I didn't like her last season. Not sure how I feel so far. She's lucky I have a short memory.

H.R.G.; Do what you gotta do man! Take Clair with you give her a purpose instead of making stupid videos.

Clair, I thought she had set herself down a path last season but this season didn't mention it at all. She practically gave herself to Sylar. What is she doing? And whats with her red neck mom being back in the picture? The new bodyguard?

Elle, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha. She put you right in your place.

Niki/Tracy Stauss, Who ever you are? What ever part she is going to play (ice queen), still my eye candy for the show.

Nathan, Glad He's alive. I thought the flying scenes were cool. I didn't like the church scene nor him at the window praying.

Sylar, I am glad he got Clair's power. I liked the scene too. I want to root for him because he is the only one who has remained on a mission through out all 3 seasons.

Peter, Still not the brightest bulb on the show. He got put into someone else? When is he going to be smart enough to use his powers in a situation. Heck, even the new guy who is him uses his powers better. BTW if his name is Josh something, how did he know Clair so well? Wasn't Josh the flying boyfriend last season?

Poor Parkman.

Mrs Petrelli, If she knew (from her dream) that Elle was one of the ones that would end hope for them, why did she just let her go like that?
Anyway I thought she could manipulate by her voice. Turns out she can see the future. Cool. Her character needs to stick with one role, Glad she took Bobs place at the paper company.

Ando, I believe it wasn't him on that cat walk. Ando wouldn't do that because Hiro wouldn't give him a reason. I'll bet it's that guy playing peter who can alter his appearance.

And Hiro, Still slow witted carp. He's my favorite character in the series, but could avoid all this trouble with his power. He could have secured the formula and Ando all in one quick swoop. And secure the thief in a cell to interrogate. Before she even knew he did it. He can bend time and space for crying out loud.

That’s what I thought about it. I thought it was a good show and will be a good season. They went on about it for an hour before the show even started.

I think NBC has a good line up this season.

saw it too, lets see where it goes from there. so far it doesnt really connect to the season 2 finale...
at least not to me, but it was always rather slow on buildup just throwing in a couple of tidbits to keep the audience at it.
