Punisher war zone - typical and awful.

iron man 2- a rehash of the first iron man without any of the new or fresh feeling the first one had... mediocre.

incredible hulk
- like most decent marvel movies it started of great and slowing descended into crap.
pacific part 6- why? what is happening to this show? it is a bit fusterating when a show decides it doesnt want its viewers to make up their own minds about how they feel about what is going on on screen... i know they are doing it to bring you closer to the few characters they are building up but i much prefered the wide and intricately layered cast of the first band of brothers to this much more focused approach.... that being said its still good and the little bits that the "extras" get are great.
doctor who season 2 episodes 1 and 2 loving it. the shakespeare episode was very fun, at last the dr seems to have found an equal.

farscape season 1- very good, great character development, great ideas.

farscape season 2
- havent quite finished it but overall its been a bit of a disappointment... season 1 was a tough act to follow though so im cutting them some slack.

g i joe- this was actually.... good?! unbelievable, i had alot of fun watching this movie. best action scenes ive seen in a long time.

JeonwoochiHoly Flying wizards Batman! Seriously these guys are bounding through the air, there are " goblins " who look bunnies from hell, and a comedic trio that are supposed to be Taoist gods.

UnthinkableI'm a sucker for a Samuel Jackson movie. Whatever you do, dont go see this. You will hate yourself. At first it's believable and then it just spirals into wtf territory. Gah. Damn it! Fallen for it again!

Napoleon (PBS Empires series)

The narrators voice was pretty monotone most of the time but they managed to get in reenactments that aren't cheesy, the choice of music was a nice touch as well. All in all very informative if you wanted to know about Napoleon as a person and not the battles he fought.

The Little Mermaid

I really dislike it when characters fall so deeply in love in like 2 minutes, and here she falls so deeply in love in those minutes that she throws her whole life away for him. It's so ridiculous, not to mention that she's as spoiled as those rich "sweet 16" girls on mtv that complain that the BMW they get have the wrong color.
But despite those things, this is still a very fun & charming movie. I also really like Ursula and her villain song. The line "poor unfortunate souls" is pretty addactive and popped up in my mind every time she was on screen.
It's far from being as good as The Lion King and it's not as good as Beauty And The Beast either, but still not all that bad, despite it's ridiculousness.

Btw, I talked to my dad on the phone earlier and said that I was currently rewatching/watching some older disney movies and he said I just had to rewatch this one since I loved it so goddamn much the first time I saw it in theaters when I was 3 or 4 years old. Appearantly I sang along like crazy during "Under The Sea" and almost fell out of my seat all the time. My parents hardly even watched the movie then, they just sat and watched me and laughed at me :)

PS: Ariel is pretty damn hot :P

The Great Mouse Detective

While not as grandiour or epic as some of the famous Disney movies, it's certainly entertaining. And I love the mouse version of Shrelock Holmes, Basil. He's so damn self-obsorbed that he falls into depression if someone outwits him. It's so nice to have a disney lead that's so scientific and fragile minded. He was hilarious. Rattigan was also a decent villain, he's classy and witty, like Scar, but not as much of a pussy. In fact, deep down, he's a pure psycho who's able to beat the **** out of Basil.

Bottom line, it was a cool and funny movie. Definitely better than The Little Mermaid.

Well, I didn't hate it, but I wasn't as crazy about it as everyone else is. I mean, it was pretty good, but not god's gift to movies.

It's a beautiful story about how one person can forever change your life and the extreme lengths people go to for the ones they love. Made me cry in a few parts, but then I'm a sucker for this kinda stuff.

Love this movie! I'm pretty embarrassed to ever be seen watching it, but it is really good.

I often wondered if an animal version of Holmes, was inspired to be made from the anime Sherlock Hound.

Heroes
I watched all four seasons, with my girlfriend, some of her friends, and some of mine. We collaborated on the review scoring per season as the following:

Season 1 - 4/5: It was epic and drew us in, and we got hooked to the characters. Every nuance and sublety was a delight to the visial senses.

Season 2 - 4/5: Not so much as good, but still a draw to the original season.

Season 3 - 3/5: Eh, it was so-so. It had more action, but it detracted over all from the first two seasons.

Season 4 - 1/5: Wtf..! Whatever the other seasons had, this one was just so over the top that we couldnt help but laugh most of the episodes at first and then yawn all the way through the end.

Ohayō (Ozu, 1959) 6.3, Oppai barē (Hasumi, 2009) 5.0, Tampopo (Itami, 1987) 8.8, Sonezaki Shinju (Masamura, 1978) 6.9, Uchōten Hoteru (Mitani, 2006) 8.7, Tsukiji Uogashi Sandaime (Matsubara, 2008) 6.5, Kusa Meikyu (Terayama, 1983) 7.2, Pikunikku (Iwai, 1996) 7.0, Za Majikku Awâ (Mitani, 2008) 8.0, Ghost Soup (Iwai, 1992) 6.8, Rajio no Jikan (Mitani, 1997) 8.7, Minna no Ie (Mitani, 2001) 7.0, Shimotsuma Monogatari (Nakashima, 2004) 6.4/10

Fujoshi Kanojo (Kaneshige, 2009) 6.0/10

The first half was a bit silly with mediocre directing and acting, but pretty amusing, the second half was hugely boring with virtually nothing happening. Of course it doesn't help that there were no english subtitles.

Doomtown.

I am not sure a futuristic/infection/appocolypse movie could have ripped off more titles than this one.

It took the Aliens APC carrier scene and swiped it.
Escape From New York, going over the wall built to keep in the rouge people. Hell she even had only one eye.
It also came complete with a Mad Max car chase scene.

On a scale of 1-10 in theftage, I give this a 11.
