This angers me to no end. And how DARE they announce Episode 7 with a 2 year turn around. Words cannot describe how totally bad this will be to the Star Wars franchise.

I'm not going with the "Disney/Lucasfilm is going to rape my childhood" sentence.
What I'm going with is the ol' "Disney needs to stop monopolizing every company that isn't under their title name" sentence. Quote:
Focus on your own damn movies, not the power you have over every other company in the world. You need improving on the mediocre movies you make currently (yes I am looking at you Cars 2 and Mars Needs Moms), not on your status in the industry. And a new set of Star Wars films? Really? Isn't the series famous enough? Do we really need more films, made by Disney, to make a bigger status for the franchise (and Disney itself)? This is going to do no favors for the Star Wars franchise.

Why is this a bad thing? Last SW movies were so bad I literally tossed my popcorn at screen and left cinema. And that was EPISODE 1. I never went to cinema to see the second one. To sum this up: no one can rape SW any more. SW is like super abused, regulary ass raped illiterate kid. Even if it gets into abusive drinking but not ass raping family it's still a win situation for him.
