I'm not entirely sure what to think about the rest of this. However, it does give me some minor hope for one thing...
Maybe they'll finally release the unaltered Theatrical versions of the original Star Wars trilogy on blu-ray without George Lucas throwing a tantrum about it. As it is Disney is one of the few companies that actually knows how to even use the format, while many other companies continue to screw it up regularly. I'd be really happy to finally be able to get that. |

So I've heard that there will be Mickey Mouse as jedi cartoon. At first I was sure it was a joke, but people are convincing me that this came from Lucas and Disney joint interview. Anyone can confirm?

I'm sure we'll see Mickey using a lightsaber at some point as a joke, but not for a whole series.
Maybe in Kingdom Hearts 3 though 0.0 I had mixed feelings when I first heard the news, but now I'm starting to look forward to the new movies. My only gripe (a big one though) is that they're apparently bringing back Darth Vader. No. His story's over, don't you ruin that you money-grubbing corporations.

I don't like that they're doing this. It doesn't seem like a wise decision, given Disney's track record at making poor quality content. I don't think I'll be watching any new Lucasfilm films after the acquisition. And I'd be incredibly pissed if they do anything to ruin the good films we already have.

Well I wasn't meaning ALL their content is poor quality. There are some exceptions. And occasionally there might be a good one. But despite that, they still often churn out bad films amongst them.

I feel like people forget how much quality Disney has put out over it's lifetime. The way I see it, it would take a colossal catastrophe for anything to be worse than the prequel trilogy. This whole ordeal could be the best and most refreshing thing to happen to Star Wars since the original trilogy ended.
