Well, that was exhausting, yet exhilarating. Whenever I think I'm too overpowered in this game, something like this comes up. Oh man, perhaps my hardest fight in a SMT game that I actually ended up winning. It sure as hell took a lot of planning, though.

All characters and demons at level 99, yet it still seems impossible to beath Third Stage without following the old get-killed/resurrect trick.

hee. out of curiosity did you play p3? the Nyx fight can easily approach those levels of frustration. to say nothing of Margaret - she's cheesable in a very convoluted fashion but if you're trying to fight it legitimately it's going to be a serious slog...

Yep, I did play it... although for some reason or another I stopped playing just when I was in the final part, that is, in the beginning of January... I tried to pick it up again a little while ago but for some reason the PS2 emulator's files had gone to hell... So basically I'll have to replay it whole someday.

Another SMT I really want to play is Strange Journey for DS. Word has it it's pretty damn difficult, and my firmware should support it now. I just hope it'll have a good story to go along with it.

And I definitely should try to play the first SMTs as well if I get the chance... Of course, all of this will have to wait until after the exams. *sigh*
