Guilty Gear XX, it kicked my ass all over the block and onto the next. Jumped right in because instruction manuals are for sissies. Used Eddie because I heard he was God and kicked loads of ass but just flailed around, got smacked around and eventually started kicking ass and ribs, until Ky. Ky just fucking owned my ass with his ranged shit. So I decided to check the manual to find out how to do some hax moves, gave up and went to plots. Except I was already at plots. Wait, what am I doing? How the fuck did I get Sol? HOW THE FUCK DO I USE HIM.

Looked up some moves, learned that Ground Fire Thing, did a sexy tango with the wind chick where I used my sexy guard moves but after that, the chick with the one arm and eye proceeded to fucking kick the shit out of my dancing shoes. Four times. So I used Faust, who I should have used from the start and I got my ass kicked. Trice. So I called it quits.

Good game though.

For the past 2 days i've been playing Tales of Graces f, i really enjoy J-RPG's but i think the 'Tales of' series do it best, this is far from my favourite in the long line of games out but it definitely isn't by any means a bad game.
The battle system is always the highlight of the games for me and Tales of Graces is no exception to it. The english voice dubbing is my only really complaint right now as i think it's one of the weakest so far, Tales of Vesperia had an excellent voice cast as did Symphonia.
I also don't mind the linearity of the game, it makes for a nice change of pace and the story is more direct so it progresses quicker.
I'm about halfway through the actual game by the looks of it so i'll add my extra 2 cents once it's done.

I think they are all awesome in their own way.

I just finished playing Mass Effect for the first time (I'm the last person on every bandwagon) and holy shit. So good.

Unfortunately, I looked up spoilers for ME3 to see what all the drama was about, and now I kind of want to crawl in a hole and die.
