Demon's & Dark Souls are some of my favorite games of all time and I honestly can't stand King's Field even remotely. I've tried numerous times, but it lacks the same degree of precision and smooth animation that the Souls games have, it also moves at a snail's pace the whole way through so I kind of wanted to fall asleep the whole time. I'd suggest trying it yourself via emulator to decide as it does have its cult following, but being a Souls fan doesn't necessarily mean King's Field will be remotely appealing, I hate it along with other Souls fans I've known.

It is worth playing if you don't mind the graphics and difficulty. It's more difficult than Dark Souls if the player does not know the mechanics and items. (I would know, because the game did not come with an instruction booklet.) The funny thing is, I didn't think this would be too similar to Dark Souls; my assumption was correct. But the gameplay and vague story are charming in their own way.

As for Shadow Tower, I have not played it yet. It looks peculiar because there is no music during gameplay, and the first-person perspective seems strange for a game of that time. I only bought King's Field because I knew it was a spiritual "progenitor" to the Souls series....and it was being sold at a flea market for $4, so I didn't hesitate to pick it up. If I ever do buy a copy of Shadow Tower, it will be purchased online.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village just finished it too. It was fun, the secret about the villagers surprised me, the end about the Golden Apple not so tho x3

Dota 2 mostly at the moment. And Plants vs Zombies, completed that game so many times now but it still fun, dont think I'll ever stop playing it just take long breaks ;)
