Def Leppard, Judas Priest, Ozzy, Ratt, Twisted Sister, stuff like that.

Has anybody listened to the new Nile album? Peoples' opinions seem to be really split on it. I like it honestly.

It's a shame that Alestorm is known as the pirate band. I never listened to much of Running Wild, but they seem better.

Good stuff. Judas Priest and Ozzy are some of my favorite classic bands. I just got Sad Wings of Destiny and Stained Class LPs recently. One of my favorite purchases.

so we have got metal fans here !? i wish there were a club for metal fans , anyway ...
it is 4th year that im listening to metal i mostly listen to Power and heavy metal , and i can say best bands are from 80s ... my fav. band is ThunderStone that is not popular ...

I also like : Iced Earth , Agathodaimon , Septicflesh , Ava Inferi , Sabaton , Ronnie James DIO ,
X Japan ,Judas Priest , Hammer Fall , Gravedigger , Dream Theater , Sentenced ,
and ... etc.

I love Septicflesh. Which is your favorite album? Personally, I think Sumerian Daemons is my favorite.

Their last album , The Great Mass , I feel like it was best release on 2011 ... and their music knowledge were improved a lot !
i usually listen to an album ( if it is good ) for 6-7 months so i cant say i have listened all their albums ! only :

The true shame is that Running Wild is known to be the 'first pirate band', even though their first 'pirate' album wasn't until '87.

Dammaj pre-dates Running Wild's pirate stuff by a full year.

I've been a metal fan for most of my life. I mostly prefer stuff toward the lighter end of the metal spectrum, such as power metal & hair metal. I dislike noise metal & metal with beast vocals.

Speaking of alestorm, has anyone heard their version of "You are a pirate"?
