How to create 'special' signatures?
 

Hi,
While reading some threads I found some signatures different by the 'classic'.
For classic sigs, I mean sigs like this:

For special sigs, I mean sigs like these:


I'll be glad to know how to make these signatures :)

You make it all yourself (add the stats yourself, etc). If you want the signature updated, you go and update it yourself, re-save it, and re-upload it.

or if you want a self-updatng custom one with the classic bar (like Captaincrunch's) you make a 500x170px signature, cut off the bottom 500x130px and upload that as your signature, and then upload the top 500x40px and put it on-top of the signature as a separate image, making it look like one sig.

My signature is slightly special. It's a little bit taller than regular sigs. I took a picture I wanted (has to be 500 px wide), and cropped the bottom 500 x 130 section. I uploaded that to the site. I cropped the top remaining portion of the original image, and uploaded it to an image hosting site. I just stacked them on top of the other, and now I have a sig larger than what you normally can have. The best thing is, it will update automatically.

Indeed, I have done the same thing even if it isn't very noticeable. Just stack on top of the other. (Without top border of course, otherwise it may look odd)

And yet neither of you enter SOTW. You know- You can just crop pretty pictures pertinent to the theme and enter them right? =P

I entered in the old comp. two-three times. Haven't had motivation to enter lately though.
