CS5 - Excited? Or just apathetic?
Well, Figured I'd see what everyone thought about CS5's incoming release.
As far as I can tell, feature wise the stuff coming out is kinda bland. Content aware is cool, but It will take awhile for me to trust it. What I am really excited about is the upgrade for macs from carbon to cocoa. They rewrote it from the base, meaning it will be far less bloatly and much nicer all around. ^^ |
Re: CS5 - Excited? Or just apathetic?
For some reason I read the title as: "Excited? Or just pathetic?" haha
----- Awesome. Though CS4 still hasn't embraced me fully, so I might not upgrade for a while... |
Re: CS5 - Excited? Or just apathetic?
I never understood the difference between the CS versions and the regular ones.

YouTube - Content-Aware Fill Sneak Peek
I'm perplexed. I was fairly apathetic before, but really excited about the content aware fill now. |
Re: CS5 - Excited? Or just apathetic?
I'm still on CS3, as my laptop is reasonably pathetic, and would throw regular **** fits when I put CS4 on it. So I'll probably be sticking with 3 for the forseeable future :p

Re: CS5 - Excited? Or just apathetic?
I have CS4 so I might wait until CS6 or something, but that Content Aware looks pretty sweet.

Re: CS5 - Excited? Or just apathetic?
I just upgraded last night from CS4 Standard to CS5 Master Pack. So far so good… I will update more later.
BTW CS4 was a ton better than CS3, the version I learned on in School…. had tons of bugs in it. |
Re: CS5 - Excited? Or just apathetic?
CS5 was- good- just also a disappointment. The mac version still crashes hourly. >_<
CS4 was an atrocity upon mac users, With a bug where the fucking thing would crash on save. >:( All in all, I'm using Pixelmator instead of photoshop more then half the time now. xD |
