Custom sig trubbles

Ok im kinda new to sig making but ive done work with photoshop. no matter how hard i try i cane seem to get it right. i lose a lot of quality when i upload to the shit and it looks like shit afterwards. so i was wondering if this could be explained.

Im using my sig as an example.

Ok here is my sig

AP has rules of files sizes.First thing File-Save for web set it as a .jpg max and move the Quality bar to make the file size under 50kb.quality is on the top right Size is on the bottom left.

Ok i tried that but it still looks bad. i dont know it still looks like im riping it from a .avi or something.

EDIT* Im also looking for some cool PS paint brushes. cant seem to find any that look cool.

There your problem there.Your ripping it out of a vide. .avi are not the most high quality video files but there in the middle That is most likely the reason for the quality.

And as for the brushes http://www.deviantart.com/ "where art meets application" There gonna be your best bet for brushes.just go into the search and type something like Photoshop brushes.

well im not ripping from .avi im riping form .ogg and .MVK thats high quilty. but o well im guna add glow and some cool brush effects and it will look better.

EDIT* well thanks for the linkeg for brushes. loads more i did some diddling around and realized how much of a noob at this crap i am. lol. is there any place that you can look at to sow you how to do some stuff?
