Well I've been gfxing for a month now so i thought i'd better make a gallery to help me improve.

1. If you wish to use any of my graphics, go ahead. But ask me just in case first.

I can give artistic criticism but not so much technical >.<

I'm a huge fan of the 'new day' one. what did you use for the ripple effect?

I think #3 4 (the blue) comes off as too bare on the whole. it's mostly the empty space on the left side combined with the overall lack of definition and contrast. was there supposed to be text on the left perchance?

the fourth fifth one (with the hat) is nice but just a touch too bright imo. you could also do something with the black colour on her shirt, maybe some sort of braided effect on the right or left of the image or as a border for the whole thing. again, I'm not much of a hand at picking effects yet - I just think the colour is nice and the image could use more of it.

#4- I see, I tried adding some C4Ds but they didn't work out too well. I'll look at it again later.
#5- Okay. I agree about the border and brightness.

Oh I see. They are illys, a type of vector graphic made in Illustrator.

Really nice sigs. I like the 2nd one the most.

I think that those little squares on the 1st one are kinda distracting from the focal point. Maybe if you removed the 'walk in eternal sunshine' text and put the squares in that place it'd look better (but that's just my opinion)

both very stunning efforts. the perspective in the top one is astounding. amazing work with the feathers.

the second one looks a bit flat just in direct comparison, partly because the shadows look a little bit funny at this angle. her pose and the perspective imply she is bending down and we are looking up at her, in which case the lighting just doesn't seem to make sense. how are the shadows on the left side of her hair cast, and where is the light source in the same area?

I still prefer it, though, because I like the character design and colour palette better, and because I'm not the biggest fan of the background in the top one.
