I just remember some crazy stuff happening with that Amber character at the end of the last season, but I don't remember how it resolved itself; or if it even resolved in the first place.

seems like it's been 2 years since the end of season 1... where season 2 kicks off.
I hope it's as good as season 1. i rather enjoyed it during the marathon to catch up. |

Just watched episode 1, gonna watch episode 2 right away.
Episode 1 was fucking fantastic. Awesome directing, really. The music, which had been good in the first season, was amazing in episode 1, really, it just fit everything. All throughout season 1, they kept telling you contractors are soulless killing machines. They have no hearts... but it never really felt like that. They all had their own reasons and despite what humans thought, for the most part, contractors weren't soulless killing machines. But damn, after the first episode of season 2, they did a great job of making them all soulless killing machines. |

Actually that's something that kinda bothered me about DtB. They said contractors are heartless yet many of them showed emotions such as anger and glee. And even fear. I think they are closer to Vulcans than anything else.

the contractors who spend a deal of time with humans seem to regain some of their humanity... especially those who were treated as human. |
