well the activity on this thread made me pick it out for my gf.

She cried almost straight through the first four eps, well laughed and cried... so i guess this one is a winner for her. I found it a little dull. but i have to admit it was easy to get to like Sawako. Even if she is a bit generic.

im sure this one will be on the top of her anime to watch this fall.

Ep 4 was fuckin heartbreaking :(

I adore this show so much! But Ep 4 ended on such a downer, it's so different to the happier pace it's had so far, i like it but i really hope the issue is resolved in the next ep.

I hope the twat thats been spreading rumours gets fuckin caught redhanded.

Sawako rocks! :D Cute, sweet, innocent, sometimes very misunderstood but it's an enjoyable part of her character.

Cannot wait for the next ep!

Yes, yes. Why doesn't your gf come and talk for herself? I think her taste in anime matches mine more closely than yours does sometimes. ^_^

That said, I was really surprised by the details in this series. The music is great, the visuals are simple, but well put-together, and the voice acting is spot-on. Also, I already knew what is going to happen, and I want to punch everyone. This arc made me soooo mad. In a good way.

What does that even mean?
Episode 4 got way too angsty over something way too stupid. Pleeeease don't let that continue, as this show could be way more amazing than that.

I find that when I'm angry at the characters as PEOPLE not as characters, than the show is good (or at least I'm enjoying it). Unless it's called Aria or Lucky Star, there should be tension somewhere. Moreso than Sawako's stupidity, I found the reluctance of her friends to give up on her extremely heartening. Although Kuronuma is the main character, her circle of friends are what keep me coming back.

For what it's worth, I felt the same way about Toradora! by the end. Ami and Yuusaku sold the final arcs when the leads started to get dumb.

P.S. I am such a crazy fanboy. I always write "Sawako" because I know her real name! I want her to know that I appreciate her for who she is.

lol. she doesn't like message boards. She doesn't really like email either... though her cell phone must be surgically attached to her thumb (she's always texting something).

That said ep.5 was pretty good. glad to see Sawako's friends not jumping to conclusions, and standing up for her... even with the long series of misunderstandings.

Love the ed, love her voice.

That said, they have been dragging this on for way to long. 2 episodes should have been enough, and this episode was pretty useless, nothing happened. That said, I realize this is a shoujo, but I mean still, come on... lol.

I love this show!!! :'D

Ep 5 was epic! I wish i could just watch this all in a row, the wait is killing me.

It was a perfect ep, Yano, Yoshida, Ryu and Kazehaya all were brilliant and Sawako is really coming out of her shell, ep 5's end annoyed me slightly though mainly because...

...of them girls being nasty to Sawako :( lol

I really really hope this rumour spreading fart gets caught out now, i really do.

I bet ep 6 is going to be amazing :D

ep 6

that episode just flew by... I think I'm officially no longer bored with this anime. It's not too bad for a shoujo anime... and my gf is absolutely in love with it as she did her usually laughing and crying throughout the episode.

(she really relates to Sawako, as she was sorta an outcast in the American schools when she moved stateside from japan... not because she was scary... but because she hardly spoke any English).

Either way not too bad... shoujo is pretty low on my anime interest list... with Skip Beat! probably being the only other shoujo i can admit i liked (and even then, Kyoko was more like a shounen hero trapped in a shoujo anime, so it was a pretty unconventional shoujo in the grand scheme of things)... this one will probably end up being the 2nd one... we'll see. Not too bad.
