I decided to just watch Ange's debut. It was pretty good, but wow did they leave out a lot. There's a lot of to pay attention to in Bern's and Ange's conversation that was not conveyed in the anime which was pretty disappointing.

A question. Did they mention the story of Rosa and the Kuwadorian or did they skimp over it completely? A lot of important facts were given in this story and it sets up a WHOLE lot of important events down the line.

Didn't mention it whatsoever if I recall correctly.

Or is what you're referring to the scene they show Rosa run away from home with a "empty" or "uneducated" Beatrice and then accidentally seeing her fall off the cliff?

Hmm, that's real bad. The Kuwadorian is key the main mythos of the Golden Witch and its name is very important.

Oh and yes Quizzy, that was what I meant. Doesn't sound like they really addressed the significance of that.

Oh well, the Kuwadorian will rear its head in Alliance. Plays a center role on the chessboard. So you'll know about it.

They mentioned it, they just didn't call it Kuwadorian

Kuwadorian is the hidden mansion's name.
When Rosa run from home she arrives to another mansion (which is not her home) in the forest. There was caged Beatrice after being trapped in the "real" world by Kinzo (or at least this is what have been told).

Why is the name so important?

I think Battler said that it means Nine birds' retreat and share a similar name to the Visitor's retreat built by Krauss, (Kuwadorian - Toraian), but after that they didn't speak again about the meaning of the name or am I wrong?

I was referring to from what Quizzy mentioned that they didn't really explain the story of the Kuwadorian. Much more of its past will be explained in Alliance (as well as a lot more of the story will take place in and surrounding it). It had sounded like it was completely glossed over when there was a decent amount given about it. The important thing is they told about Rosa and hopefully how it all ended for Rosa and the Kuwadorian's occupant.

Like I said, I did not see it. It was just a curiosity that popped up after I noticed Bern and Ange's conversation was cut short to ask about. Though I might pick up the anime again while I'm doing dishes or other household chores since I really don't need to pay THAT much attention to it and it's nice to have something running in the background when I'm doing chores. Turn got really bad and I had to stop. Legend was okay, all things considered.

ugh... I'm not sure why i am watching this... must be habit... and an appreciation for the bad-ass and epic op theme. That theme fits the anime perfectly. Shame the rest of the anime can't be as good as the OP. Either way... its just a big yawn right now... which is disappointing after how interesting Higurashi no Naku Koro ni was

They keep adding characters to the cast... not one of whom adds anything or is even remotely interesting. That this last ep focuses on the two least appealing characters in the cast doesn't help matters either

really? a while episode based on crazy maria and Batler's emo-suicidal sister? Really? I can't stand maria in small doses. and frankly.. Batler's sister is completely pointless!
