I thought the reveal of Yuuki's latent vampirism was really poorly done and made little sense. I'm hoping next week they explain it quite a bit more. I mean, I understand because I've read the manga but mah.

Also, as a hardcore Zero fangirl, my heart breaks for the girl. All he wanted was to keep Yuuki safe and hoped she'd never be a vampire and woosh, here she is a pureblood with some deep, tragic past with Kaname.

Agreed. I never did really like Kaname. Zero is so much better. I've been following the anime while a friend of mine has been following the manga. I keep having to ask her questions about the plot because I'm a bit confused on some areas. Regardless I'll keep watching it and may eventually get to the manga.

Hopefully the next few episodes get a bit better. I'm a bit worried with so few left, but you never know ...

Opinions will always be just that, opinions. It's actually relieving that you understand that haha xD; A great deal of the VK addicts kiss this things ass so much that they lose sight of the fact that it has a good deal of flaws. If this anime had been set for 50 episodes then the pace it is running at would be perfectly fine, however when it's only 26 episodes hastening it wouldn't have hurt one bit.

Season 1 seemed to end in the same fashion as Air Gear with a great deal of reused backdrops and reduced animation quality due to misuse of the budget for the show. The fight between Zero and his brother near the end of season 1 was in extremely shitty animation quality, go back and look at it (ep 12)before you disagree on this one. If you look closely for a great deal of the episode and fight they use freeze frames from behind the head of the person who is talking in order to save money. When Ichiru is talking it switches to behind his head, when it's zero it's behind zero's head. It's partially a slideshow episode in this fashion. There are a great deal of moments in which zero swings the sword and instead of it looking as it it's in full motion it's changed to freeze frame movements. This is the first episode in which I noticed the sudden drop in overall quality. the worst partabout this was that it was intended as the climax of season 1, yet they completely and blatantly skimped on it. Some examples to look at:

At around 11:18 Zero turns his head and Shizu says "You didn't have to come out." It takes about 2.5 seconds for him to turn his head and if you look at it only about 6 frames were used. That's hardly the proper 9-12 fps (about 25-30 would be for the 2.5 seconds) required for movement in animation. when you pay attention to his head as he moves it instead of reading the subtitle you realize it actually looks awkward, kind of like a clock hand ticking around the clock. The movement is bit by bit.

11:38 - Ichiru's hand is not only disproportioned, but it just looks awkward.

11:52 - One of the freeze frame moments I was talking about. there are many of them throughout this particular episode.

11:57 - The swords movements are awkward. Another moment of reduced frame rate.

Continue watching this episode while ignoring the subtitles. The animation quality is very poor throughout.

To be perfectly honest a manga with the popularity of VK should of gotten a lot more attention when in production as an anime than it actually got. It feels more like a slap to the face for marketing purposes since a great deal of the fans are too absorbed in the series to really pay attention when they are getting screwed in the ass. This is just one of the few reasons why I find VK as a disappointment.

hahaha!... you guy should really watch it! it's reALLy... getting so MesSed-up... thru... episode 8... but it's really fun...and you'd surely twist-your-brain out of thinking what would happen next.... it's sooOOooo fun!

so far i'm in the right path of my imagination coz every conclusion of mine was comming true.... and if you've already read the manga... they've said its totally different.... ohhh well, i havent so... i'll let it be...

Yeah it's like the 8 th episode and what 2 days have passed and head master cross is the most annoying thing that ever walked the earth. Holy crap , you have this wigged out dark depressing anime and then every time he is on he is gushing all over Yuki I just want someone to rip his throat out.

It's weird how all this time its all just been romance and drama scenes and now all of a sudden it's like they're throwing in all this complex plot. I kinda preferred it in its simplicity. I feel like I allowed the first season and the first 6 or so episodes of this season to dumb me down into enjoying random erotic scenes with little thought involved. Now I have to think?!!! ugh when can we get back to the sexy romantic stuff?

so kaname was really that super-old? huhuhh and to think that his not the original brother... i'm mostly agree now with the Kaname-yuuki love team... hehehehhh

but sadly... i think yuuki was now inlove w/ Zero arrggghhh!!!
