Kyo Kara Maoh! 3rd Series
Synopsis, screenshots, recommendations ~ Add Recommendations Discuss individual episodes and first impressions of this anime here; reviews and final impressions should be posted in the Anime Reviews Forum. Post format and full rules can be found here. __________________________________________ So I was a huge fan of the first Season of KKM and I thought it had a great ending. So, I wasn't sure whether to be thrilled or terrified at KKM:R or the shortly thereafter announced KKM:3S. I watched a few episodes of KKM:R and was not into it at all. Kyo Kara Maoh! 3rd Series - Anime-Planet Considering it was my biggest fandom for two years, I'd like to get into it but would hate to be dissapointed by the really flat, episodic plot I saw in R recurring in season 3. I thought season one and two had a great balance of mature plot and silly banter. I was hoping someone out there could comment on the plot quality of this season, maybe see if we can start a discussion. Personally, I don't mind spoilers. Many thanks. Nice to see another KKM fan ^^ I loved the series personally, but saw a lot of people put it down because of the yaoi undertones. A lot of the jokes wouldn't have worked if that wasn't there.
I've downloaded R and what is out so far of the 3rd series, but like you, I'm a little apprehensive to start watching them. The ending for the second series wrapped it up perfectly for me, and I'm not too sure how much I'll like the Maoh going back! H. I think Shirono you should go back and start at the beginning. I had to go back and watch the whole thing over again just to get back into the series.
Take care, wicked shizuku |

I've been avidly watching the thrid series, and I love it, though I'm utterly biased since Kyo Kara Maoh is my favourite series. I have to agree that the end of the second series was perfectly wrapped up, which has even made me wonder whether they should have left it there. However, now that it's actually getting into the main part of the plot it seems a bit better, and I may be proven wrong :D (not to say I don't enjoy all the fun standalone episodes)
