To be fair

Kotoura is a mind reader after all. She can tell someone's true feelings in those kinds of moment. Meaning she could tell how irrevocably sorry Moritani was. While this is a often used cliche, I think this is the one instance where you can validate its use. The only person who knew what happened knows her true feelings on the situation. And now Moritani will work to make up for what she did.

As much as i hate her i must disagree there.
I disliked her from the minute her turned on jealousy act, characters who act on jealousy in such ways are always hated for me but i don't believe she apologised just because manabe turned on her, the fact she looked really guilty ever since kotoura didn't reveal she was behind the attack and infact comforted her, i think that triggered her to realise kotoura really isn't a bad person (though she never technically said she thought she was bad, it was just another hating on the mind reading).
In all she would be dumb to think she ever stands a chance with Manabe now (i doubt many crushes respond to having a group of buff bulky men come attack them in a positive light) and she deserves that but yeah. I still dislike her character non the less, i see it that her actions previously was her true colours and real personality but i don't honestly believe she was so cold to only apologise on such of her actions turned Manabe against her, i think she honestly felt guilty (the Manabe thing might of course be a contributing factor don't get me wrong).
Well that's just my interpretation anyway, suppose we all see things differently.

Every damn show you watch there is some character that has to be a total "bitch" and they are the worst thing to mankind. It's really annoying to hear you same the same stuff like a broken record.

Episode 4

Nothing really special, but not that it is a bad thing. I did wish they dragged on the drama a little more. So far though with how it's going I'm sure we are going to see more drama in the future. I like how Grandpa and Manabe are alike as well.

actually I'm with rr on this one. she basically did her best to destroy two people's lives. I can understand not being too vindicive about it, but welcoming her into the fold just because she feels bad is a bit too easy. perhaps given time she might earn her way into Kotoura's trust...

that's the big kicker, really. I don't buy that Kotoura would be so trusting as to believe she won't do something like that again, not with the way she's been hurt and betrayed countless times already.

First of, spoiler tags exist for a reason, people. Second,

She was blinded by jealousy. So the target of her jealousy was Kotoura. Now, she did her best to make the girl's life hell. I believe she has a bit of a superiority complex. So when she makes a hit on Manabe, she doesn't realize what her actions will do. And because she ended up getting him hospitalized, it knocked her down a few pegs. She immediately felt resentment for what she had done. And in fact, she tracked down Kotoura in order to make amends. It's evidence enough that her heart was in the right place at that point. Especially for Kotoura, who knew she was freaking out over it. You know, cuz she's a mind reader and all.

So still, I think it's justified. And that's not to say she won't be doing what she can to make up for it from now on either.

eh, i never really said i forgive her, i just understand why she was forgiven, i don't actually agree to it... i do buy the fact she is generally sorry but im the sort of person who holds grudges so you better believe even in a anime the characters are going to have to do A LOT to get back on my neutral side ;)

This is also something i keep coming back to, considering the amount of misfortune,pain and suffering kotoura has faced through her life (let alone all the betrayal) surely she wouldn't just go trust someone like this would she? She surely would be aware of these things right? i know she can see what people 'really' think and feel but to be so trusting over next to nothing more than a word 'sorry' is a bit out of character to me.

he's definitely right here. We're talking about someone who got guys to assault him. Rough him up a bit? Don't make me fucking laugh. By the way in the 4 Koma that scene was much more violent but I'm guessing they had to tone it down to match the series age rating or w.e it's called.

One thing is though, you guys have to realize she fits in to those impossibly nice girls. Kotoura is so good hearted to the point one day it's gonna come back and bite her in the ass.
