Very niche show imo.
Well I'm a fan of light and fluffy JPop so I'll be watching this. It has an idolM@ster vibe to it and all the characters are pretty likeable so far. Long Live Moe! Moe Idol Project! also ohgodthatobviouscg during the op...whyyy.

Episode 1
That was an enjoyable, MOE! episode. Likeable, MOE! characters, nicely done MOE! animation and the songs along with the singing; it's full of energy and quite engaging, especially the MOE!. A surprising series (Even though I was looking forward to this one) to add along to the pop idol anime I'm currently watching.

MY DNA IS MADE UP OF ANIME

Episode 1
Maxed out MOE. The CGI in the OP was pretty reminiscent of Idolm@ster, not that I liked it. The ending seems less CGI ish. Overall it doesn't seem like a bad watch, I find the music entertaining enough and the characters all seem likeable at this point. The Op also gives away all the members that will join the group I guess. Though that doesn't have to be true. Indubitably. |

Watching because not only do I like some of the Love Live music that's been released over the years, but because I happen to own some of the Love Live music that's been released over the years.
I also just have a weird love for Idol shows, good or bad.

Noty interested in this until a positive review caught my attention.
Pretty decent so far, and I liked the music, so I think I'll go along with this show for at least a few episodes. |

Episode 2-3
The story is coming along nicely, though their first performance was riddled with poorly integrated short CGI sequences. I think it might be better to go full CGI and keep hoping between drawn animation and CGI animation. Because hoping between their current CGI models and their standard animation is pretty obvious. ( and distracting ) Idolm@ster had CGI too, but when they used it for a scene they used it for the whole scene... not like this. Indubitably. Last edited by Etue; 01-21-2013 at 08:45 AM. EP 2-3
I liked it, pretty interesting so far. Actually looks like an ambitious project, but with low budget. I didn't mind the CGI so much, actually I thought it looked pretty well. Characters are pretty good and well looking, music is still very likeable too. Not on the level of Im@s, but I still enjoyed it. One of most entertaining this season for me. Picked up out of boredom but beats tamako market I was looking forward to(and got disappointed by so far) by a mile. |
