Ok watched it. To be honest it wasn't that bad, when you don't want to expect a whole world of joyment to come down the very first episode. This series is about mysteries, mostly surrounding the heroine, this spirit Orion and it seems that other things at large, so considering that you can kiss logic goodbye, because obviously the more logic you try to apply the less sense everything is gonna make because it is not intended to work in the normal logic (something that I see people tend to forget here as I've seen in a couple of threads).

So basically you gotta keep watching to understand everything (pretty much like K) and clearly those at the shop know more than what normal logic would allow. I mean the owner with that speech, gave hint that they are not "normal guys" and as such "normal logic" is just as useful as to throw garbage on a filled trashcan.

It is intriguing, I'll keep watching this.

So I just watched the first episode and I have to say I absolutely love the character designs and the multi-colored eyes are kinda cool. So, no, this anime does not have "generic character designs" despite what somebody said in a previous post. As for the story, it's the first episode, its probably going to be slow paced supernatural with some little action. It's wrong to label this as "shit" when the first episode wasnt enough to properly introduce us to the show. The one thing that batohers me though is the girl's voice. It's fkin annoying.

People should watch 2 or 3 episodes before giving up on this. And not watching it because of somebody's post is not very smart.

Where to begin; I love the visuals, it's amazingly beautiful.

Now aside this, I 99.99% agree with Link. This was unintelligent, illogical, slice of life boredom, an un-godly reverse harem, and worst most of all, obvious cliche characters and plot progression I'll be expecting with a hint of magic *As I wave my hand as though I'm casting a spell.

But with all this happening, I understand what's up with our little friend, Orion. He ain't real...
Oh no, don't take this as though I'm saying he's physically or logically real. I meant as in he's just a figment of this girl's imagination or a Jiminy Cricket if you will. Think about it. Only she can see and hear this punk and he keeps giving her instructions and influencing her conscious. Plus the fact that even though he's this higher being from another world, he's unable to fix his mistake. All because she made him up, to counter measure her amnesia. I ain't no doctor, don't judge.
There is no other world, there is no spirit who can wipe out your memory by touch. It's all in her damn messed up head. Even her name is IRONIC, heroine...

But to summarize, I don't hate this anime and not planning to until this is over. I could think of plenty of anime to HATE more than this but it will be up there if it doesn't improve from here on out. I'm a very optimistic person. :)

Having multi-colored eyes does not make the rest of characters' features original. If it was a manga, and black and white, then they would look identical to dozens of other manga out there.

I know I'm repetitive, but there's something called inner logic that any serious work needs to have. Inner logic means that once you've established the kind of fictional universe you're going for, you have to respect its rules, which include both the fictional elements you've added and the real elements you've left untouched.

For example, in a certain survival show about killing with bombs in an island, a hardly believable premise doesn't mean the main characters get to survive bombs exploding right next to them while everyone else burns and dies.

One shouldn't say ''it works because it's fiction'' and write that off, because it's the same as serving oneself spoonfuls of bullshit.


As for Amnesia, admittedly, it's still not clear what kind of universe it's establishing. It may still be a real world with fantasy elements product of imagination as Damias suggests, or it may be actual fantasy.

But in the former case you'd have to add that she's also imagining the fly-killer dude waiting that night outside her apartment, who apparently killed the fly with fire by touching the lamppost.

But whichever it is, there are still things that make no sense one way or the other.



Anyway, leaving all that aside, my main gripe with this is that it was BORING as all hell, a really uninspiring display. It's like the creators didn't even care about the show they were doing and just focused on painting as many colors as possible in the men's eyes. The execution was bad, there was no tension to the tense scenes and no drama to the dramatic scenes.

And the protagonist is extremely unlikeable. She is indeed like the equivalent of the indecisive male lead in a normal harem game/show, except perhaps even more irritating.

That I agree with. I tend not to give a care what anyone says about a show and check for myself. Said shows will sometimes crash and burn, but I've also found very good ones thanks to ignoring others' opinions.
