They can't use Ichigo's father (as a shinigami) as filler material since he's main story and they haven't even gotten any further on that matter in the manga.

Anyways, if you ask me, the best parts of the series come after Soul Society Arc, except for the fillers of course. But it's after the Soul Society Arc they brought in Grimmjow and Shinji. And (hopefully) soon we'll get to see the Vaizards origin. That part was awesome in the manga.

I don't expecially like the fillers, but overall I still think Bleach is a very good show. It kind of sucks that fillers are sometimes needed to give the manga time, but what would you perfer, filler or no Bleach at all?

I am fond of some of the filler stuff.... Not really the fillers themselves, but some of the info, or an episode or 2. Though I like fillers in Manga much more than I do in the Anime.....

The thing I hate about Bleach the most is the story has gotten away from the original creators.... They have so many people writing the show now, that the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing....

For example, I am still DYING to learn about Ichigo's dad. I mean WTF, its a filler episode, but thats it... nothing almost 90 episodes later.... It was written by a writer that has not written on the show since.... so what, is that it? Are we supposed to forget about it....

Honestly, i watched bleach up until the point where they storm the soulreaper's castle and got very bored with endless episodes of them running round in circles. I saw him save rukia and got fairly bored of it.
I really cant believe they stretched it over two story arcs. I know quite alot happens, but it didnt grip me at all. The idea behind it really excited me at first too. Shame.

They must be in the bounto arc on TV. That arc almost made me drop Bleach, but I kept watching it out of habit and it did pick up a lot later on.

From what I read online the show does pick up guys and it does get better. :)
