Anybody else see Wabisuke and think Chang Koehan from King of Fighters? Really it's just the ball they carry around, because otherwise they are complete opposites. Still, I was reminded of him. If you don't know who Chang Koehan is, he's the Fat bald guy who carries around a huge ball on a chain, on his back.

Anyway, those bleach power levels

It's kinda sad to see how these people making the filler have to tip-toe around how any one character compares to any other in power. This is what's going to ruin the Kenpachi/Byakuya fight, because there's no way they can really finish it. I hope they get creative with it at least though.

Then I felt the writers got stuck with Yumichika trapped in the vines by himself. He can't be saved by anybody else, because of the other Bleach universe, so they had to have him randomly power up and break the vines. I doubt if Yumichika were using the power, it would be that easy to break.

Yea it was a serious WTF moment when they had Wabisuke just get annihilated by Kenpachi in one hit. I don't know how that saved anything, I guess because like you guys said, no one would be able to beat him, so Kenpachi just powered up and diced him. Another cop-out.

The Ichigo and Zenbonzakura fight won't go anywhere because Ichigo refuses to fight anybody else's Zanpakutou seriously from fear of killing it. Which means he's doing a lot of dodging and not wearing his mask.

Then there's Soifon fighting a tiny bee...I wonder how they'll make that interesting....

And lastly the most interesting thing (to me) happening right now is the random appearance of Ashisogi Jizou, who's just raping everybody. At least until the crazy kurotsuchi shows up.

It was still actually enjoyable, just a little predictable right now.

Oh yea, random explanation why Kenpachi was missing makes sense, but I wonder if having him come at exactly this point was the original plan...

i'm having a lot more fun watching these fillers then the Arancar arc anyway.

Right now I think I'm just watching Bleach for the heck of finishing it, and for the off occasions when it's still awesome. I so miss the old day's of Bleach...

I rewatched the old days of bleach about 2 weeks ago. It's not as good as I remember it when comparing to other things that came out around that time. I think the only reason it got really popular is because A) The manga was popular and B) It's a simple slice and dice anime that focuses more on fights then dialogue.

EDIT: Just finished 244. I wasn't very impressed with it. The only zanpaktou that I like is Suzumebachi and Kenpachi's fight was pretty weak as well if you ask me.

That is true. Though I still have some of my favorite anime elements in Bleach. At least those which are related to action, fighting stuffythingies.

But those are in several others also, HSD Kenichi and such.

Heh, the only part I liked about this episode was with the pink haired brat.

And I was deeply saddened at how short the Suzumebachi fight was being as how she was my favorite zanpaktou

Wasn't bad, it was basically what I already expected it to be so it didn't surprise me at all. I thought they made the Soifon fight a bit more interesting than it looked at first. A tiny winged creature vs a human being is usually a one-sided fight and it wasn't. Pretty predictable stuff and

It seems Byakuya really did join the Zanpakutou to find/help Yamamoto, at least that's how it seemed for now

I'm kinda glad they aren't dragging shit out, because it at least shows they have other material they want to get to, but they could've done a better job with a lot of these fights.

I was secretly hoping for the robot - monster Ichigo, alas... it didn't happen.
