I knew roughly what you meant though, I just wanted to share my view on the matter!

I actually re-watched the latest Psycho Pass with the sole intention of trying to spot the animation fails, when i started actively looking for them it became clear that there were a lot more than i initially thought there were! It was actually pretty funny at times, especially when you listen to people who get physically butthurt over these kinds of things and forget that there's still an awesome story going on!

I've been purposely holding off on watching this new ep until I was in the best conditions to enjoy it, so comments will be coming shortly afterwards (still starting to watch it), but just a comment for now: did anyone else notice how they're improving the opening sequence's animation every week? It's looking more and more badass every time. Compare for example the part with Kougami fighting himself, or his face when he's pointing the gun at Makishima.

Yeah the new OP is amazing, the trippy colours are especially brilliant. I actually went back and looked at the original OP to compare and it isn't a patch on what we have now. The song is still pretty poor though!

Song-wise, I prefer Abnormalize. Opening sequence-wise, I prefer the new one.

So, I started watching this a while back, but it fell to the wayside for other things between real life, other anime, and Ni no Kuni. Anyway. just watched episode 5 so spoilers ahead for anyone not there yet.

And I have one huge problem with this show so far:

It seems to me, the only thing that really matters to anyone is the Crime Coefficient. If it's high enough, it's an automatic death sentence. If it's lower, then they get therapy and released into the world, yes?

So here's the problem, which they addressed in the first episode. No one really seems to take into account the circumstances of why someone's coefficient is that high. The lady who was raped in the first episode was definitely in a panic and she was given a death sentence for it. If it wasn't for Akane, she would be dead. She actually managed to lower her coefficient and saved her life from the police.

Similarly, the guy who was bullied. That plant is practically cultivating latent criminals but the only ones who suffer are said criminals. Strike that. I just saw him in episode 6. Thought he was dead. But still...

I mean, I can get that the system knows who is most likely to commit a crime. That's fine. But the fact that it's a death sentence before they do anything doesn't sit well with me.

Episode 11:

Just hit episode 11, which clearly spells out the huge flaw in the Sybil System. I don't see how Akane fired a shotgun one-handed without getting her arm ripped off. But yeah, glad they bring up that point in the episode. Feel bad for her friend though. And I have to wonder how this will affect Akane's Psycho-Pass.
