You know, if people keep arguing like this, Pidj is sure to show up again. Every season this happens in multiple threads and I'm getting sick of it. -.-

Anyway, episode 4 stuff.

It's nice to see that apparently something caused the Elephant-Mouse syndrome. And since the last episode, I was confused as to why Kai had everything slowed down when Akiho was definitely explained as having things sped up. But apparently it just manifested itself differently between the two.

And Frau... She's interesting. I'm wondering how accurate the subs were for her dialogue. Although she's apparently socially awkward to an extreme level. I'm interested in seeing her character develop.

Episode 5.
Well...that escalated quickly.

Going from little robot fights, to uncovering a neat little AI program, and a conspiracy to cover up the fact that the Sun is going to explode. I mean...dang. Talk about a shift in tone.

Yup yup expected coming from the makers of Steins gate and chaos head. I felt like this would happen eventually. Now we wait til things get real. Btw anyone know if this is 1 or 2 cours?

My friends have been using it so i guess ive gotten accustomed to using it as well. It's just a 3 month period with 13 episodes. As the term season could mean 13 26 or even 52 episodes sometimes, I prefer using cour.

Things are getting interesting...

Well, the aurora has likely to do with those (continuous?) solar flares.
However, the rest like the importance of the discovery of magnetic monopoles, those two syndromes and the AI in augmented reality is still pretty vague for some conclusions.

I'm really looking forward for next week.

So it looks like after picking on CERN, they're moving onto NASA as the main conspirator this time? I guess it could end up being some other entity, too, but at the least NASA started the cover-up...

I wonder what their motivation for it would be? I mean, CERN's motivation was to destroy all evidence of their attempts to send people back in time and thereby killing them, but hiding that the sun is going to explode is an entirely different thing.

Looking forward to the next episode already!

Episode 5
Kai meets more girls (because of course) in what is easily the best episode of the series to date.

So to recap: What connects solar flares, the end of the world, a hidden conspiracy by NASA (of which let's remember JAXA is connected to and they may be treated as interchangeable by the show), the interest of NASA/JAXA in robotics, and the interest the ambiguous app-girl shows in Kai and also Elephant-Mouse Syndrome/SS Anenome? And of course a suppressed scientist name who Knew Too Much and who robo-leg woman knows.

Now I can't imagine any particular benefits to hiding the end of the world unless making the world end is actually something you consider desirable (which in SF usually paints you as some kind of religious nutcase... not perhaps the most probable outcome of the NASA arc). So what exactly is the conspiracy angle here?

Now we have our conspiracy. Certainly makes things much more interesting. Mister Pleiades still gives me a chuckle.

This is my main question. We'll probably have the answers tickled down to us over the duration, but for now, there's no clues...
