So, I feel like an arab in the middle of an ice storm. This show lost me. The sister should be 1 of the 5 main girls (we could also include Ikusu here) but none of the girls seems to be the little sister. Could it be that the sister has amnesia? Could it be that the sister is still there in his harem and she just doesn't want to get close to him? This would leave the witch (which is unlikely to be the sister), the president and vice-president of the student council and Ikusu.
Another possibility is that the sister is 1 of the 2 creeps and she lied about not being at the funeral because she doesn't want to admit she is the sister so she still has a chance to marry him.
Shugo goes to a school selected by her mother and it so happens that again meets his childhood friends. Why do I have this feeling the mother is the mastermind behind these fateful events?
He's going to that specific school because his father graduated from there...at least, that's supposed to be the reason. And of course because it's a prestigious academy filled with noble/wealthy ladies with the highest "qualifications" to be his spouse.

It's Ikusu. Or, his sister could be his mother's little sister - so his extremely young aunt! *shocking*

Really? Wow, I must have missed that. Was it mentioned in the first episode? If so, I have really got to start paying attention to these kind of "how you say" exposition...

So... does anyone know what's happened to this show? It's been over two weeks now, and it's not moved past episode 4 yet.

Re: Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru!
Episode 5
Nothing substantial happens.
Seems like the reason Mei is leaving for America is because she isn't making money off the cafe so we get to see the 5 main girls in maid outfits to save the cafe...
Hurray

I have a feeling that you are correct. Also the whole
She could be a year younger or older things is kind of strange, I guess now we know why she's so short... for a senpai. ( not that'll she'll be the eventual sister. )
So, the first phone imouto was Tsuruma Konoe (black haired girl). It is unlikely that she would try to mess with the main character again so we have to assume the phone imouto at the beginning of this episode was a different girl. There is no way to be sure if the new phone imouto really is his little sister but I think I know her identity. During this episode there were 2 or 3 calls from this new phone imouto, but there is a clue in the first call (I'm assuming all phone calls during this episode were made by the same imouto). During the first phone call, the imouto referred to herself as "watakushi" instead of the more common "watashi". In anime, "watakushi" is mostly used by wealthy high class characters, and in this specific anime, there is only 1 girl who uses "watakushi": the blonde girl of the student council. That doesn't mean she is the real sister but it means she is probably the bitch behind the phone calls.

Re: Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru!
^ Not bad of a theory, +1 bird in a cup for you.
Back to Episode 6&7 : Woo... a Double Feature!
So Mei is not the sister and now the "could be" this time is Rinka...
At this rate, I just don't care who the "sister" is, what with all the excuses they're coming up with.
Not implying I don't like the series but I'm getting migraines just thinking who the "sister" could be.
Anyways... Does anyone else have this feeling that the secondary girls are better than the main 5 in terms of traits/personality? Meaning that you would want to see more screen times of the secondary girls, like the chief newspaper girl, the photographer, the cafe girl, and most recently the student council girl with a really hilarious ability. They'll are so sugoi...

+1 love interest, so the student-council president is the only girl remaining for being his sister? Well, if it's her that's rather straightforward... but since she is student-council president she's older than he isn't he? Or is she in the same year? oh well... still 4 episodes remaining, maybe someone else turns out to be the sister.
She did fall for him rather quickly as expected in harems, however the built up wasn't as good as it could have been in my opinion.
Cute episode, the themepark was rather classical and few surprising things happened. A little ecchi as usual...
