Wow...just wow.

I mean, the plot seems like a copy of Dot Hack, but that really doesn't matter. The plot, art style, music, and characters from the first episode just roped me in. I just hope they keep in line with the MMORPG themes, so that I can connect with this series more as a former MMO player.

This might just prove to be the best show of the season. Damn you Zaig.

I didn't think I'd get hooked on this, but JUST after the first episode, I can't wait for next weeks episode. Maybe because of the art or the premise. Anime like this always get me.

I like the two characters but the plot seems to be very heavy handed. The bad guy showing up and explaining his evil plan just felt hokey.

But... he really didn't tell anyone any plans, honestly. He just said hey, if you wanna get out, you besta dance for my amusement, and then peaced out. We have no idea of motive or why, other than his kindof "because I could" attitude.

In addition the only proof of the admins claims came from the admin himself so by extension everything is left open for question, other than that they can't log out for some reason.

I checked this out and found it fairly intriguing and entertaining. Liked the concept and the darker take on things, very nice.

I hope that this remains the battle for survival in a virtual world they've been forced to inhabit as indicated with this episode, certainly promising.

But based on the op/ed seems the dude will team up with some chick and gallivant through the various stages... In other words, there may be a chance this degenerates into awkward shounen hijinks like this series' cousin.

Hopefully not. But certainly looking forward how it pans out.

When i start seeing this i thought that it will be like .Hack with someone stuck inside the game,but dammm that was a nice way to start an anime i like evil twists.

Like Viduus said, the "You're a guy?!" ect.-part was very funny.

However...

Like hell they let someone trap people in a virtual game. Especially when some already died.
And how about eating/drinking irl... The only way to let them survive for a long time is setting them on the drip...
Oh well, otherwise it was very good. :)

Well, this had been revealed AFTER the full release. Before that, the logout and revival options were still there. It was the first day of full release that it happened, so no one knew what was going on until it was far too late.

And apparently, it takes them TWO YEARS to clear the game. As it said at the end of the episode, no one had even got to level two within one month.
