You know I liked the idea of Asuna escaping. Sure, some people didn't like the idea she could just walk out of a trap designed by the Admin, I found the guy cocky enough for that to be plausible and more to the point I was willing to forgive the seeming lapse simply if the show could get away from Asuna doing nothing this arc beyond being the damsel in distress who gets sexually assaulted.

...well.

It didn't do that.

And not a lot else to say about this episode, honestly. It's a bit fillerish - yeah, we see more of the scientist's evil plans but nothing that concrete or interesting, and we have Sugu angst a bit more over her romance, and the game clarifies a bit on why you can't just climb up the tree, but nothing really that important happens...

Besides, again, the tentacles. Since the scientist whose avatar was the slug tentacle monster says he's so bored of dolls, one can assume that he normally tentacle raped NPCs. Charming, charming people.

And yeah what TheZippo said about the other shoe finally dropping the moment Kirito in-game ever says Asuna's name is something that occurred to me while watching this episode, but of course he said it first.

Neutral Territory, which is a no combat zone. And as a general rule, races don't get along. However, that doesn't mean individuals can't. Besides, who says those courting weren't rogues? I mean, back in the 1800s, it was undesirable to have interracial relationships but they still happened. So it's still perfectly conceivable.

Marriages between people with 4 degrees of blood separation (cousins being exactly 4 degrees of separation) or more are perfectly fine in Japan.

Lol. I love this show, but that was hilarious.

It's not only Japan that looks at incest differently. I know that at least in Italy, it's also acceptable and relatively common for cousins to marry.
