In my last post, I hadn't actually watched the episode yet. Now that I have, I can certainly say:

This is hilarious. Weird as all hell, I love it. Honestly, their actions aren't far from how bizarre some people were when they were teens *shh not me*. I do get the feeling that some kind of fantastical element is going to be introduced. The art style was great, reminds me of the old stuff from the 90s. The music was good too. Nothing to not like. I felt the level of fan service was acceptable (blink and you miss it side-panty shot), as nothing ruins these kind of shows for me more than blatant fan service.

That said, these kind of shows easily get ruined by never developing their characters once the introduction episodes are over, so I'll keep my enthusiasm in check until a few more episodes in.

Well I did say it was blink and you miss it! I only caught it because I was looking at her skirt and thinking how heavy it must be, being made of some kind of thick cloth. It was towards the end when they're walking home after school, with the nice backdrop of the town.

the idea here is different and weird, which I think is good. I also like the old school look.

I guess I'll be watching this, I hope it goes in sort of a fantasy direction with it's explanations of her saliva. When she started puking/overflowing saliva, I was like WTF?

I once dated a girl who peed whenever she got overexcited. She'd say she 'piddled'. Maybe that's why I'm unfazed from watching this, I already dated some weird damn girls.

My ex's legs would become temporarily paralyzed whenever she got overexcited. Unfortunately, being 12, I didn't notice the possible advantages to that.

Well, morbid curiosity overcame common sense, and I decided to check out the first episode...not bad actually. The whole drool thing is a little off putting, but other than that, that was a decent start to a show. I think I'll watch this.
