I've heard than Mangahelpers have confirmed that the third opening will be a Version 3.0 of Departure, ugggh... I like the song but I want new themes instead of a version with different pictures! Well, we still have the endings (the second is my favourite, let's see the third).

I must say; that this new version of the anime - IS AMAZING!!!!!

Say that with the pauses and emphasis!

I wish to find another anime as amazing as this to hold me over till the next week. They made the show much more - I don't know the word for it - manly, awesome, explicit, intense, serious?

I look at the recommendation page and cry that I cannot find an anime to give me the same emotions as this!
Who hasn't seen those linked animes... though Deadman Wonderland is a good one.

We should get a 2.0 of "Just Awake" by Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas for the OP this time. I like Galneryus. They make some cool rock and metal songs. Departure just doesn't seem like one of them. Just Awake gave the show a bad-ass modern/electronica/screamo/post-hardcore feel and we exchanged that for a corny 70's anime vibe now both at the beginning and the end. I know it's a remake and all so maybe it's a tip of the hat to the older version, but I really miss the original ED.

Also, judging from everyone else's reactions to the first ED, I'm probably the only one who misses it haha

Also, watching fight comparisons to the older version, I'm not a fan of how much more like a girl Kurapika looks in the newer version. It's something they changed with the hair. It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't always walk around in some baggy dress-like outfit.
