Ohai there, I decided to share what I'm doing, since there's a forum for "creative" stuff. Also, I'd love to get some positive critique, instead of the usual comments from people I already know (who are pretty much the only people who know about it).

So.. I'm a pianist, mostly playing the loveable soundtrack music from animes and games that I've watched / played. I'm running a channel on YouTube, where I'm uploading piano videos, with me playing different piano pieces (planning to upload videogame videos in the future, not related to this topic but explains the wallpaper design on the channel).

I've been holding back with the videos for the past timeperiod, due to my sound quality; which is close being unacceptable :/ , but it seems that I won't get a new videocamera in the future so I decided to start uploading again.

• Is there a way to make the video show in the topic, could anyone tell me how if so?
• My videos appear in different qualities, mainly because I had a hard time choosing the right resolution for them to fit YouTube. I believe I found what I wished for in my latest video "【Piano】Yosuga no Sora - Kioku「Anime version」".
• I've only written the anime covers above. The rest of my covers are from videogames.

You're a great pianist! I especially like the Super Mario Galaxy one. You've got great style and feel, and it's not overpowering like a lot of pianists. And I assume you do all of these by ear?

Thank you so much, I'm glad you like it! : D

I learn some of the melodies by ear and some with sheets; it's written in the description of the individual videos. Regardless, I always try to add something extra or make something different, which can only be done with ear : )

I'd never heard either of those songs before, but I love your versions of them, especially the naruto one :3 Your really talented (Y)
May I suggest that if your looking for other songs to cover, the Angel Beats! Intro song has a really great piano line to it :)

You should watch the Naruto series then O:!
It has about the best soundtrack that I've hearn in an anime so far, and thank you very much ^^.

Actually I have plenty of other songs that I want to learn / play + I'm always playing atleast one song; Currently playing The Legend Comes to Life.
I've even created a "Want to play" list just like the anime lists on this page x), and there's currently over 20 songs that I plan to play in the future. I'll be sure to check out the Angel Beats intro, but I prefer to watch the anime first before playing the tunes. It's very likely that I end up adding another song to the list if I liked the series ;) .

I Love that song ^_^ can't wait till you finish your cover! awwwww angel beats is quite far down the list then :/ I would love to cover it but lack the piano skills..and drums wouldn't really work for that XD

You're definitely talented! I like the adlibbing you've done with these and the variety of pianos that you used.
You should look into getting a recorder and a mic. If you do that and synch the audio with the video you could get a much better sound quality which would be awesome since you already sound good.
Look into audio recorders like the zoom and either a condenser mic but more likely a standard 57 or 58.
You could really wow some youtubers with that kind of quality music!!!!

Me too, It's one of my most loved songs of all time!
It reminds me of my childhood everytime I listen to it / play it, which is a really nostalgic feeling
I've almost mastered the song now, but I'm not sure if I should upload a version since there already is an almost perfect version on YouTube.
