Humm, what is this? Well..... Deviantart doesn't have a lot of people who critique, and the category where my art belongs to is obscure besides. Anyway, I posted them here because I wanted to get critiques. Do the eyes look uneven? Could the piece look better if it was recolored? Was the nose out of place? Were the fingers fat? Such and such. Constructive criticisms I think they're called.
There's an old Chinese saying that goes, "you cannot know there is a booger in your face if nobody tells you." Yep, I'm pretty sure it was something like that. Critique away. ==================================== All you see here and more at my deviantart account ^_^;;; UPDATE: NOVEMBER 20 A new section: In my bid to improve my art, I am now accepting... I make site mascots, fanart or request art for free.... the only thing I ask back is a watch in Deviantart... kekeke. :D However, I can only do it during my free time D: NEWEST ![]() COMMISSIONS The three prototypes below were requested by my myanimelist friend, raziro for his site BIOBASH: ![]() ![]() ![]() LINE ART ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() COLORED ART ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Um, well to be honest I'm having a hard time finding really anything wrong. I'd say you have your anatomy pretty down straight (Except for the two characters and one with wings, that looks a bit off.)
The layout of the faces all seem good for the anime style Eyes are about half way up the head Spacing between eyes is one eye length Smaller eye and location of nose and mouth are correct in 3/4 views I really like the B/W drawing of the young lady. The chibi characters all look good but I think the body or at least the arms and legs should be thinner. It would make the head look bigger and probably add to the cuteness factor, but this may just be a style preferences. On the sunflower field picture the characters thumb looks a bit to small. But I'm probably just nit picking there. The coloring is all fine for the medium you are working in. (colored pencils) Nice work! |

I am so in love with the second image. I would love to see it vectored and coloured in digitally. I could just imagine it set in a sumptuous background of greens and pinks with more sakura blossoms :)
(would make an awesome sig >.> ) H.

I've never tried vectoring before, but there is someone on the forum who does. His name is currently escaping me though >.<
