Hi. Here is my first character design. I sketched this out today and colored it in with 3 different color sets, although of course i can mix and match so the options as far as colors go are limitless. I haven't bothered shading the colors yet, so the image only has one value shade per color. Lemme know what you think. =) - Also, lemme know which color scheme you like best. Please let me know how i can improve my designs, line work, and coloring.

(Image is under spoiler tag to save room. Also, you can see lines from the opposite side of the sheet music paper i was drawing on. There are also some left over pencil and eraser marks on the drawing if you notice little specks, try to ignore those. hehe)

I like #3 colors the best

Here's a portrait i made just for fun (and practice lol) based off the first color scheme. The mouth is kinda a weird shape, so it makes her look craaazy. lol, i like crazy though. =D.

Details: Sketched in pencil on paper. Linework done with a thin sharpie (black). Scanned and colored in Adobe Photoshop. Each color is a individual layer superimposed over the original linework.

but i would say youve got your posture and proportions down but sir.. your facial features need work

edit- when is ay down i dont mean perfect i mean down for you style

(image in spoiler tag) --edit-- Here's another standing pose i did (basically in colorset3 with the hair and skin tone of colorset1). I definitely think im improving, but im still having some anatomy problems and things like that. Its tough to make interesting poses.
