I'm currently working on a book called Anime Confessions: Anime Fandom through the eyes and experiences of Anime Fans.

Anime Confessions is a collection of writings from anime fans about the anime fan culture and what brought us to the anime fan culture.

All entries are credited to their writers.

THIS SOUNDS FAMILIAR...

I practice a sport called "Parkour". Its rather "strange" for people who don't know what it is.. But some idiot thought.. Hé i could write a book about parkour.. and what it is and means.... well thanks to the idiot now everyone gets the wrong idea of parkour.....

Well to answer your question I only came up with this project a week ago. So things are slow at the moment. But some people have expressed interest in this project and three people have even submitted entry already.

As for details (I am assuming you have looked at the books out line on the web page.) This book is going to have lots essays, poems, and other writings about the fandom is to us. Every ones views on anime fandom is different and not everyone agrees with the views of someone else. I also don't want someone to take any of these writings and posting them else where or even using them as their own. So I have made it so I would be the only person who is able to read the entries. The out line page will be used as a place where you can view what entries have been submitted. That way people can see if there idea has been used. Most topics can be used several times because they are based on peoples views. However things like History of Japanese Anime or the rise of Anime Fandom in America are more likely to only be used once because it would be annoying to see several articals on something based on fact.

For a publisher I am using a group called Webooks. They help many amature writers get their start.

As for the site, I agree freewebs isn't the best site I could use. But I don't exactly have money to own a web domain and I'm not skilled enough in webdesign to make one even if i did have the money for a webdomain. So the free site will have to do for now.

Here's an outline of Anime Confessions so people will know what I am looking for as far as writings. The book is made up of nine sections and each section deals with anime fandom in one form or another. Several of the sections have an ECT in their listing. That is for any writing topics I may have missed in certain sections.

Section 1: Beginnings
