lol second post here. I realize most of the threads are just FanArt, but it says "creative corner" so I'm hoping FanFics also count...

(I'm so incredibly bored, thank god for forum rapes! :D)

Okat, let's start off by saying that I have had a hard time finding betas that will actually do their job, so most of my work is not betaed. Also, English is not my first language and there will be typos and grammatical errors, sadly. I started posting fanfics at age 13, and back then, I's say I was a horrid writer. Reviews at the time stated otherwise though, but I think they were written by people the same age with the same lack of taste XD But fear not, I have improved throughout the years (hopefully) so my recent work should be readable ^^''' I haven't posted all my fics here, so it should be alright...kinda...

despite the yaoi warning i i read the fma prove yourself. i like the insulting parts of mustang and Eds reaction to it you did hit the spot pretty good i'd say. i am a bit into fan fic myself however i am trying to create my own universe but since its in german an a bit too long to translate i guess i wont post it. But at this point i'd like to ask if you maybe have an advise since when i take a look at my story now it just seems so familiar... just like ive been copieing (<-dunno if its spelled right) things ive read... i guess it counts for every writer to be influenced by things they've read...

thank you! ^^ I find Ed and Roy's relationship hard to write, so it's nice to hear I didn't screw up totally :P anyway, advice you say? well, there's not really any advice to give. one's work will always be influenced by not only stories, but other things around you as well. the only thing you can do is to make sure you're not using something you <i>know</i> someone else have already done. if you still want to use it, then make it clear that you had no intention to steal any ideas from anyone. if it's extremely alike someone else's work then it would be correct to contact that person and explain why too. this is only what I myself think is correct though.

anyway, I might have misunderstood what you wanted an advice for, so if I did, I apologise XD well, anyway, wish you luck with your fanfic writing :P for what fandoms do you write? ^^

thanks for your advise that was exactly what i meant.

i'd like to give you a proper answer to your question for what "fandom" i am writing. well i'm afraid i'm not too familiar with the english term "fandom" but i'd assume it means something like fandomain (if i am wrong please explain it to me).

well i mostly write for myself just for fun but thats also my basic problem its pretty rare that i find the muse to do something and recently i am just doing some adjustments to the content so that it fits more to my actual charakter and not the one i invented years ago
