Yeah, it was the same type of style, though that was my first experimentation, and it obviously didn't have much room for text. I changed the text and just made everything overlay, and I think it's a better outcome this time...what think you? ![]() I also changed the font in Ironfungus, but it's probably hardly noticable. I did move it closer together with the I. Last edited by Ironfungus; 07-04-2008 at 11:56 AM. Reason: Added signature. |

For the little boxes on the left and right of her, I simply made a rectangle shape, filled it with whatever color (doesn't matter), copied the tag (apply image) into another layer and created a clipping mask for it. |

Oh and do you use layers of brushes to get different colors or how do you do it? |

I used a stock for the background. It's a orange-red leaf with a rain drop suspended on it, though you can't really tell. I just used the stock to get the color. For bits of color here and there, I used a radial gradient tool on two separate layers. The first layer had a gradient of pink and blue (I think), and the second had the colors yellow and green. I kept them on a hard light setting, but on 10~20% opacity. As for the abstract brushes, you don't know what I'm talking about? There's a lot to browse from just by visiting Deviant Art and searching "Abstract Brushes" For those layers, the brushes are just black and white, so no; I don't use them to get colors. |
