[FIXED][BUG] Anime Stats

Something is off with them. After refreshing the page, the count in my profile doesn't change after setting as Watched an anime that was in the Watching list. I tried several times and with different stats (e.g. Want to Watch), but the only way they change is by completely removing an anime from the list. I also tried with different entries to see if the problem was with a specific one, but neither worked.

I don't know, it's pretty weird. As an example of this, here's my profile which says there are 9 anime in my Watching list, but there are actually only 8.

Is it just me or has anyone else had a similar problem?

P.S. I also tried to use Firefox instead of Explorer. Same thing.

Seems there is some lag, took a day for my stats to get updated but they did. I hope this isn't a MAL Deja vu...

I haven't noticed any of those issues, but I did notice tonight, that a series I moved to Watched and then rated, didn't actually get counted on my Anime Ratings stats.
It says 369, and it should be 370 (one less than my watched count).

I also have noticed this bug with my account and saw it also with a friend.
But you just need to give it some time, it normally changes soon...

someone mentioned a bug about this yesterday and we discovered that some counts were affected in a recent server crash. we created a script last night that would fix all of the stalled counts and have a solution for if it happens again. but, that should have fixed all the counts. it's strange that yours is still out of whack, so we must have missed something. i'll look into it..

but as a note everyone, this is not the same situation that you might be afraid of. there's no lag when updating, so if it's not instantaneous, something is wrong :) we'll fix it.

by t he way, can anyone remember a series that they changed from watching to watched? could be something related to those exact statuses or to an exact pair of series, so that could help us troubleshoot.

For me, I didn't go from Watching to Watched, just straight to Watched then rated.

I think it did actually add the time though I wasn't paying too close attention at the time.
It added it to my Watched count, but the rating didn't add to the rating count.

ok cool, good to know that ratings are involved too. do you recall what anime it was that you marked?

if anyone else has more details about their experience too, let me know here :)

I just dropped 3 series, and the currently watching count stayed stuck. All of them are new, Battle Girls, Softeni and another one I forget the name now. It was updated today though, so I assume the script did the job for me.

I hadn't noticed until you pointed it out, but I appear to be having the same issue. Amidori | Anime-Planet is my profile- I finished "Yumekui Merry" about an hour ago, and thus updated it accordingly from "Watching" to "Watched", and while it did update, my "Watching" count is still 10 though it should be 9.
