Embedded chatbox
Ive looked over previous denied requests and seen that no one has suggested a embedded chatbox on the forum itself. I think it would be nice for simple talk and would be a great feature to have. People might get to know each other even more. If this is considered, I can come up with ideas in further detail.

while we dont have the type of chatbox you're thinking of, we do have an embedded irc chat window that hooks into the official site chat at the bottom of every page on the site (and if logged into the main site, theres a link in the upper right of your screen too)

Uh... "more official"??? How can you get more official than the chat room that the site's creator created specifically FOR the site??

The way it is, it can be accessed whether you are on the forum, or the main site. I don't see what the problem is. I don't mind typing my name. In fact I like the way it is. I use my on IRC software, so I think it is great the way it is.

A chat client linked to site accts, backended by IRC would be theoretically plausible. However, considering the fact that even the forum accts aren't linked to site accts, it's very unlikely to happen any time in the foreseeable future.
