[Bug?] Links to users

Attempting to link to users in Blog posts:

Getting addicted to anime - Crimm's Blog - Anime-Planet

It's changing the links from:

chii | Anime-Planet

to:

http://www.anime-planet.com/chii

What am I doing wrong?

Should I do relative URL's?

e.g. /users/chii

I believe this was brought up before, but never fixed.
Using bbcode url tags should work. ie; [url]http://www.anime-planet.com/users/chii[/url] .. or.... [url=http://www.anime-planet.com/users/chii] something [/url]
In the latter case, make sure to put spaces around "something". If "something" touches the brackets in the tag, it tends to get borked & treat the tags as part of "something".

what exactly are you doing to add the links? there should be no issues with this, and i just tested it myself and it worked fine (in both blogs and my bio), by highlighting the text, hitting hte link button, and then typing in the url

Highlighting the text, click the link button and paste in the users full link.

Now, one thing that may be different is that I'm EDITING a post instead of making a new post. I was editing it because when I created the blog post Chii's link had a capitol C. Therefore it didn't work (See her comment in the link above)

When I edited it ... It stripped the /user/ from everyone's link in the post. Now no matter how many times I try to fix it ... It keeps stripping /user/

soth- I tried it before I replied & highlighting text, hitting the link button, then pasting the link & posting does exactly as crimm said, it strips the /users/ portion out (at least when you do it while editing a post. I didn't try posting a new blog).
