in the last 3 weeks it wasnt down for me once. cant remember what happened before that time.
so yes, its you. though i have no idea why. just try the usual things: - start -> run -> cmd -> ipconfig /flushdns - get rid of internet explorer(if you are using it) and use firefox, opera or something better than ie: anything - clear your browser cache (somewhere in the options, depends on the browser |

yeah, the site has never been down for me either.
if you try all the options that oehr suggested (except the switch browser one which is ridiculous), do this for me: type the window key + r type cmd type tracert anime-planet.com right click, then left click at the top left of the text that's outputted, drag down to the bottom right corner, then let go and hit enter. then ctrl+v to paste the results into this thread. what might be happening is your location is trying to access the site, and along the way there's a dns problem somewhere. if i know which step is dying for you i can try to see if my ISP can contact them (but this would be an external problem not related to the site or server) |

I think a-p might have been down mometarily once or twice since the re-launch, but I can't think of any specific instances (and I know it was never for more than a few mins, if even that).
The most likely answer is what soth said about some problem between your isp & the server. As a temp fix, you could try getting to the site through a proxy, such as this: Anime Recommendations, Reviews, and More! Anime-Planet You usually won't be able to log in properly via a proxy site like that, but you can at least view the site & see if the site is really down or not. A more permanent potential solution (if you have admin access on your comp and/or router) would be to try using opendns, you can find more info on it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opendns https://www.opendns.com/smb/start
