Avatar is not changing in the profile page and the Genres list.

Hello there this is OverLord01 and I noticed a problem in the profile page. When I try to change my avatar to something else that is the same file size or close to it it will not change. The current avatar stays the same. I go through the edit thing and find the pic and go through the process but nothing changes.

Also the genres list, I placed some things in it like for example Sci-Fi and action but when I save these the site says that they are errors and are tags so I am unable to get those on the list. I found a list of genres online and tried a few more but nothing happened. There seems to be a problem on those too.

I would be very grateful if these things are some how fixed when you guys get the time. I know you all are busy and stuff but I would be grateful.

I had problems last night as well just wanting to add to my bio.

so there's a bug with the genres thing (ill fix it tonight) where unless you put it in EXACTLY the capitalization as it isinthe db, it wont work. you can fix this by starting to type, look at the options in the dropdown, then click the down arrow till you are on the right one and hit enter (or click). for example, 'Sci Fi' woud work, but not 'sci fi'. 'sci-fi' wont ever work because it's in the database as 'sci fi', but just start typing 'sci' and youll see the option.

as far as the avatar, try doing a hard refresh on the page (alt+f5), or just f5 to refresh the page. your browser will cache images, so unless you do a hard refresh youll still see the old one.

I still can't add to my Bio on the main site. Is that still being worked on?

youll need to be more specific. please tell me the browser, exact steps, what you are trying to put in, error messages, etc.

I have Safari. On the main site I click on the edit profile and try to add to my bio in the first box and then stroll down and click on submit and nothing happens. I receive no error messages. Hope that helps.

try on FF and see if that works, as a test.

by nothing happens what do you mean? page reloads? do you see a javascript error?
