[DENIED][REQUEST] Recommendation based off of all the anime you've watched

First of all let me say that I love this site. I was looking for a good site for anime recommendations and found this site.

What I'd like to see added to the site is this. I'd like to see a page where you can see recommendations based off of all of the anime you've already watched. It would be similar to any normal recommendation page, only it would consider every show you've seen. Also, if possible it would be great to have the added feature of limiting your results by rating. i.e. you could see only recommendations based off of shows that have 4 stars.

The current way of finding shows works well, but by doing this I could find new shows to watch based off of my tastes much more easily.

I'd really like to see this implemented. Thanks!

I agree with that idea, but that'd be a lot of code. O_o

It's been stated many times that a-p will never add an automated recs system like that. Anime-planet is all about quality recs, made by real people.

Wait, I don't understand what you are saying. I'm saying use the quality recs, made by real people, only combine the number of recommendations for any particular show based off of the number of recommendations it has for any show you've watched.

Based off of the current setup, it seems like it wouldn't be too bad code-wise. Use the standard recommendation page as a template and then change the database calls to incorporated multiple anime instead of just one.

Really you could do the same in an excel spreadsheet yourself, it would just take forever and you'd have to do it for each show.

I read over the "[DENIED][REQUEST] Anirec - Automated recommendations (algorithm)" post and it seems different from what I am suggesting. I don't want you to scan other people's lists of watched anime and compare them to yours and make recommendations. I just want a page that adds up recommendation votes only for the anime that you've watched, to give you the top anime recommendations based off of all that you watch.

The problem is, when you are looking for new anime you basically have to open a tab for every anime you've ever watched and scan through the recommendations for shows that you haven't already seen, but sound good. I just want a single page to do this for me. You would still be using the recommendations that people post to find anime. There would be no need to make some algorithm to analyze anything, just add up votes.
