Delete OR rename an account - Anime-Planet forum

Hi
How can i delete an anirec account? I want to start with a fresh one.
Alternativly, how can i change my username.

I am talking about the regular account, not the forum one.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Are you just trying to change your site account name? Because otherwise there is no reason for you to start 'fresh'.

If you want to change your names, maybe you can request sothis to do it here. Site and forum accounts are about to merged, so if your name is different, then it's best to make them the same. Request the name that you want to keep in the linked thread. Please read her instructions carefully.

1) The forum & site accts will be merged at some point soon (it's a planned feature of full v3, but I'm not sure exactly when it will get implemented). If you have different nicks on the site & forum, there is a thread here where you can post which nick you want for both accts.
2) If you want a completely different nick, the only way to change your nick or delete an acct is to ask sothis to do it. In light of #1 above, between now & october would be the best time to request such a change, since she's going to be changing a lot of accts anyway.
