Cool [ANSWERED] Question about Missing Anime

Hi,
Just been looking threw the Anime List, Updating what I have/Haven't watched, and I was wondering where an anime that I have just finished watch is. It wasn't on the list's (Not that I could see) I was mainly wondering is there a reason it isn't up (maybe not classed as an anime) or if there is no reason why it isn't there, How can it be put up there?

Hold on Oehr, to be too rash.

Vampire Kitty, are you trying to say that when you update your anime, the watched anime isn't showing?

[EDIT] You better post this problem in the Alpha tread

No, I think she means the anime she watched isn't in the anirec...

So, to answer your question, the reason it isn't there is simply because nobody's added it yet. At A-P we pride ourselves on a high standard of quality, so all of our database entries are hand-made and submitted by users who have seen the series, then checked over before being posted.

Blindly taking information or screenshots from other sites could often lead to poor information - their synopses tend to be either bare-bones or simply wrong because they're in such a hurry to have the series listed that they try and make a best guess from the manga or other bits of info before the series has even started; also, screenshot sites don't necessarily take care in avoiding major spoiler shots.

The best way to get a series added is to make a post in the Anime addition request thread. It may take some time, especially with all the work being done on the site, but usually these requests get priority for people looking to add something.

oh sorry. still its a pinned thread :P

since youve watched it, you can also write your own synopsis and send it to sothis. she will look through it and improve it if necessary :)

dont forget to include pictures and whatnot:

As cetonis said, it probably just hasn't been submitted by anyone yet. If you would tell us what series you were looking for, we could better answer your question as to whether it isn't considered anime, or if it just hasn't benn added to the database yet.
