there are so many series out there. a lot of shitty anime series too. but still, you can still find masterpieces under all those creations. but nobody really knows those.

therefore i think the site needs awards. anime with awards dont mean that they are the best of the best, just that they are really good anime series in the eyes of the staff and all members(nominate).

There should be all kinds of awards. including all tags but also "Animation/Artwork Award", "Character Award", "Music Award", "<something here> Award", "CGI Award" etc.

if an anime has an award, it should be displayed in search results and when you browse by tag/year/etc.

P.S. multiple anime can get the same award.

Everyone can nominate an anime for an award. I would nominate Azumanga Daioh for the "Hilarious Award", Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann for the "Manliness Award"/"Awesomeness Award" and Now and Then, Here and There for the "Story Award" and "Anti-War Award".
